You might wonder why I chose "flashedge" as the name of this business. Well, I was staring the submission form on activeden in 2009, then known as flashden, and I didn't have any clue on what nickname to pick up. I wanted to let people know I create cutting edge stuff, so I put the name "edge" right after the major technology I've been working with for a decade: flash. The name sounded cool and I even found a free domain for it. I spent some day to create a brand and started publishing my first component right after for giving it a try.
I was surprised by the warm welcome I had, I didn't expect to get such a success and the experiment kept going on. Infact I published more stuff and found a niche where three-dimensional components still weren't realised. That was one of the limits I wanted to overcome and people now refers to me as the one who makes such things possible.
My business is now healthy and growing, and the work done until now proves that things couldn't be any better! Happy customers and a steady growing sales graph are just the things that every company wish to have. I expect to expand my business into other branches, like html5 and jQuery and even wordpress themes.
