I discovered the Open Source Media Framework thanks to Lee Brimelow's gotAndLearn() website. After some weeks of trying the library I decided to finish up my own player, since needed a new one and replace the minimalistic FLV Player Lite for new incoming projects.

The result is a flexible player which supports pretty much anything and plays anything: OSMF Edge Media Player. It works as a real media player and allows you to feedaudio, video, images, dynamic streams, youtube videos and even complete mixed playlists with dedicated pre and postrolls for your advertising. But it's not all you can load advanced plugins for your Analytics like the gTrack and the TubeMogul plugin.

OSMF Edge Media Player has also been a weekly featured file on ActiveDen and clients have welcomed the new player with very good feedbacks.
